A chilling mystery unfolds as a respected dentist and his wife are found murdered, leaving a community in shock. On December 30th, 2026, the lives of Spencer and Monique Tepe were tragically cut short, discovered in their home in Columbus, Ohio. Their two young children were thankfully unharmed, but the circumstances surrounding their deaths have left investigators and the public searching for answers.
Chief Elaine Bryant of the Columbus Police Department has spoken out, calling the case "definitely disturbing." Authorities believe the couple was killed sometime between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on the second floor of their home.
Earlier in the week, police released video footage of a person of interest. The video shows an individual walking in an alley near the Tepe residence during the same timeframe the couple was murdered. But here's where it gets controversial... the police have not yet identified a motive. Chief Bryant acknowledged the public's frustration, stating they are eager to provide answers, but it's currently premature to name a suspect or reveal a motive. "We want to bring some justice to the family," she added.
Adding to the heartbreak, Rob Misleh, the brother-in-law of the victims, shared that they had celebrated Christmas together just days before the tragedy. He recounted their post-Christmas relaxation and dinner, unaware that it would be their last moments together. "We were totally blindsided by what happened," he expressed. A celebration of life service is scheduled for the family and friends of the Tepes this coming Sunday.
