NY Giants' Free Agent Future: Jermaine Eluemunor, Wan'Dale Robinson, and Cor'dale Flott (2026)

The New York Giants want to bring back three free agents: Jermaine Eluemunor, Wan’Dale Robinson, and Cor’Dale Flott, but the real question is whether the team can afford to do so in 2026. Giants head coach John Harbaugh spoke at the NFL Scouting Combine on Tuesday, expressing a clear desire to re-sign all three players. He added that the bigger hurdle isn’t interest but capacity: do they have the cap space and resources to make it work?

“We want them back,” Harbaugh said. “The challenge is: can we bring them back? Is it a prudent use of resources, given the cap?” This reflects the ongoing planning underway as the league’s decision-makers and player agents converge in Indianapolis for the Combine, where many contract talks and price tags are hammered out.

Right now, the Giants sit with about $5.147 million in cap space, assuming a $303.5 million salary cap for the upcoming year, according to Over The Cap. When you account for commitments to this year’s rookie class, the Giants actually sit roughly $4.951 million over the cap.

Giants general manager Joe Schoen cautioned that no final cap decisions have been made yet. “We’ll see what the values are for our UFAs and what kind of room we’ll need, then determine our approach,” Schoen said.

How aggressive should Schoen be with cap room?

“As much as we need,” Schoen replied. “It depends on what we need.” He has repeatedly insisted that, despite the modest cap space projection, the Giants possess the flexibility to maneuver and create space as necessary. That stance will be tested in the coming weeks.

Forecasting free-agent values varies by source and real numbers are often fluid. For context, though, these figures offer a starting point for discussion.

The Athletic projects the following market values: Eluemunor, the Giants’ starting right tackle, around two years for $42 million (about $21 million per year); Robinson, a slot receiver who has posted back-to-back 90-catch seasons, at three years for $48 million; Flott, who enjoyed a breakout year at cornerback, at three years for roughly $22.5 million.

Whether the Giants can secure these players again and simultaneously pursue other free-agent targets remains to be seen, as does how aggressively they’ll deploy restructuring or other tools to balance the books.
