A thrilling announcement has been made for the BEN Fund Bonanza event in Glasgow! Two exceptional riders, Chris Harris and Peter Kildemand, will be the stars of the fundraising meeting on March 28th.
Chris Harris, a local hero, has an impressive track record with the Bonanza, having appeared six times previously and achieving two second-place finishes and one third. He's the sixth highest scorer in the event's history! Harris shared his excitement, saying, "I was surprised to learn I've participated so many times, but when Paul asked, I jumped at the chance. It's an honor to give back to the sport I love.
"Glasgow is the perfect venue, with its lively atmosphere and plenty of opportunities for overtaking. Having come so close before, I'd love to finally take the win!" Harris added, expressing his gratitude for never having needed the BEN Fund's assistance, but acknowledging the importance of supporting fellow riders.
And here's where it gets controversial... Kildemand, who made a triumphant return to UK racing in 2025, will be joining Harris. Kildemand said, "I'm thrilled to be back in Britain and racing at Glasgow again. It's my second BEN Fund Bonanza, and I'm happy to contribute to a cause that supports our sport.
"Last season was fantastic, and I'm looking forward to returning to Berwick and Belle Vue. Those tracks are incredible!"
So, what do you think? Are you excited to see these riders in action? And this is the part most people miss... the BEN Fund Bonanza is more than just a race; it's a chance to support riders in need. Will you be there to cheer them on and make a difference?
Remember, your support can make a world of difference to these athletes. Don't miss out on this exciting event!
